  2. The temperature adjustment of the heating plate needs to consider the influence of the surface temperature and ambient temperature on the actual temperature of the heating plate to prevent the actual temperature of the heating plate (surface temperature + ambient temperature + display temperature of the heating plate)> 230°C. When the ambient temperature is above 38℃ and construction is carried out on asphalt roads, the temperature of the heating plate can be adjusted to between 190℃-200℃; when the ambient temperature is below 38℃ and construction is carried out in the field, the temperature of the heating plate can be adjusted to 200℃ -210°C.

  3. Check the error rate before pipe butt joint, the error rate shall not be more than 10% of the pipe wall thickness. The misalignment rate exceeding 10% of the wall thickness of the pipe will cause the contact surface of the weld to be smaller than the wall thickness of the pipe, which will affect the welding effect.

  4. The heating time is calculated. When all the circles where the end faces of the two pipes are in contact with the heating plate are turned over, the pressure of the welder is removed and the heating time is started. The heating time is calculated by the pipe wall thickness X 10 seconds.
  5. After the PEX Cold Expansion Fittings welding is completed, the pressure will enter the cooling time. The cooling time is calculated by the pipe wall thickness X1min.

  6. After the welding is completed, if forced cooling methods such as water cooling or air cooling are used, it will cause the phenomenon of virtual welding at the welding place and affect the welding quality, so natural cooling should be used for cooling.
