- Flat ironing
Flat ironing is the most commonly used bronzing method. Only the content that needs to be hot stamped will have metal, and other places will be blank or printed. The purpose of flat ironing is to highlight the location of bronzing and to iron the most important materials in gold. Compared with other processes, such as reverse ironing and multiple bronzing, flat ironing is less difficult and less likely to make mistakes. In addition, because it is the simplest bronzing process, the loss of paper will be less.
- Anti-scalding
Inverse ironing is the opposite of flat ironing. Metal hollowing is used to highlight the blank position, and the bronzing part is used to set it off. The usual practice is to surround the graphic to be highlighted with a large graphic, the surrounded graphic will be bronzing and the graphic to be highlighted is hollowed out, thus forming an anti-hot effect. When doing reverse ironing, if the foil area is large, the price will be higher. Moreover, the graphic lines to be highlighted should not be too thin (more than 6pt), otherwise, the effect of the finished product will be unsatisfactory.
If the special paper is used for hot stamping, it is necessary to consider the characteristics of the paper texture. If the surface is not smooth, it is not recommended to use reverse hot stamping, because the fineness of large-area hot stamping is easily affected by the paper texture.
3. Stamping overlap
The overlapping of stamping and hot stamping is a processing technology that tests the skill of the master, and its printing design is a clever combination of hot stamping and printing colors. The master will do the printing first, then the hot stamping. The hot stamping process has high accuracy on the position, but the effect of the printed product is first-class and full of fun.
