Brass Injection Packers are one of our waterproof material products, this kind of insertable crack injection packer is also called mechanical packer. These are used for high-pressure concrete crack injection situations, usually up to 1000 psi. They can be used for epoxy or polyurethane grouting. Since they are inserted into pre-drilled holes rather than glued to the surface, they are very suitable for cracks smaller than the hairline, previously repaired cracks or active leaking cracks.

The high-pressure packer is made of metal and has a rubber sleeve that enlarges and seals the injection hole of the drilled hole. The low pressure packer is made of plastic.

The size of the packer depends on the depth of the fracture to be injected and the amount of material required. For a typical concrete foundation, the ideal thickness is 16 inches, 3/8 inches, and 5/8 inches.

In fact, the packer essentially reduces the water blocking construction process of the oil well packer, can easily realize the snubbing and no blowout operation, and can withstand high pressure in both directions and has a long service life. The cup packer commonly used in oil fields is self-sealing. The outer diameter of the cup is larger than the inner diameter of the casing, and the seal of the packer is achieved by the interference fit of the cup and the casing. The resistance is large when going down the well, and the cup is easily worn and scratched, thus losing its sealing. With the in-depth understanding of oil layers, it is imperative to tap the potential of thick oil layers, and at the same time, higher requirements are placed on downhole packers.
