How to Defeat Krutog, Lord of Kin

1. Stay Mobile

The single biggest key to Path of Exile 2 Currency victory is movement. Krutog's attacks often lock him into animations, giving you windows to dodge, reposition, or land safe damage. Standing still will almost always end in disaster.

2. Watch Out for the Vomit Puddle

The Sulphite Vomit attack is the turning point of the fight. The puddle is enormous and deals constant physical and lightning damage. Getting cornered while it's active can be fatal, especially if Krutog pushes you back into it. Keep your escape routes clear.

3. Ranged Advantage

Minion builds, bow users, and spellcasters will find this fight significantly easier. You can kite him around the arena, avoiding melee swings entirely, while focusing on dodging corpses and puddles.

4. Resistances and Defenses

For melee characters or tanky builds, survivability is key:

Stack Lightning Resistance before the fight.
Carry life flasks with instant recovery to survive sudden burst combos.
Physical mitigation, through armor or endurance charges, also makes a huge difference.

5. Phase Awareness

The fight shifts once Krutog drops below 50% health:

His stomps add lightning splash damage.
He becomes more aggressive with his chase and puddle placement.
