The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA®) has launched a new online certified product catalog (CPD) to improve speed and search capabilities, improved interface and security, and more in-depth information. BHMA created this catalog, which was originally established in 1998 as a resource to help architects and specifiers select the best certified builder hardware products for their construction projects. Its first online version was released in 2013.
BHMA Executive Director Ralph Vasami said: “From the current catalog to a complete revision with many enhanced technical features is a major initiative of our organization.” “As the ANSI standard development organization for North American builders’ hardware, BHMA represents the industry’s 80 % Of manufacturers. The BHMA CPD database contains thousands of certified hardware products, and it is growing every year."
The new BHMA CPD includes the following technological advances:
