Does water flow from the cold end of Hot And Cold Faucet ?
Causes of hot water coming out of the cold faucet
1. Both pipes are too close
When the hot and cold water pipes are parallel to each other when they lead to the faucet, they will affect the water temperature in the opposite pipe. This can also happen when the water heater is too close to the cold water pipe. Consider insulating these pipes to protect their internal water temperature.

2. Ventilation duct
In colder months, the ventilation ducts will feel warm to the touch because the warm air passes through the ventilation ducts. If the cold water pipe touches the ventilation pipe, the water in it will start to heat up. With the increasing use of heating systems, this may become a problem in winter.

3. Thermostat failure
If the thermostat associated with the immersion heater fails or is completely damaged, be prepared for the influx of hot water! The heated water will actually overheat and eventually boil into the cold tap. Therefore, due to the temperature mixing, all the storage water that is ready to be used will become hot.

how to solve this problem
These are three of the many reasons why hot water flows from the cold end of the faucet. The best way to solve this problem is to call your local plumber so they can determine what is causing the problem and fix it for you. Knowing that your cold water will be very cold, you can sit back and relax, and you won’t accidentally burn your hands next time you turn on the faucet.
