　　Since shear beam load cells are commonly used in industrial applications, they have a sturdy design. This is also reflected in their IP67 or IP68 degree of protection, which means they can prevent dust, splashes, and even immersion. The datasheet of the shear beam load cell specifies the key parameters of rated load and limit or failure load. Also important is the minimum scale, because it determines the allowable tare weight. The shear beam load cell can be easily connected in parallel to a shared circuit because the latest generation of these devices is often output current calibration (through impedance fine-tuning). Therefore, no additional trimming is required, and single-ended shear beams of different manufacturers can usually be combined into a single loop.
