It usually takes about a month to open an Automotive mold. Complex molds take a long time. Automotive mold is usually opened and needs to be reviewed in detail. The mold can be opened only after approval. After opening the injection mold, the Automotive mold needs to be tested. There are several things that need to be done in the manufacture of injection molds:

　　1. The cooling (water channel) in the mold is related to the size, shape, plasticity, and holding time of the product.

　　2. The roughness of the mold cavity must reach the "mirror level", otherwise the product is difficult to demold, the product needs to be too hard, and the product is easily damaged when ejected. The roughness of parts such as positioning pins and clamping surfaces is regulated by the standard.

　　3. The plastic mold must be rigid, otherwise, the mold will be deformed under pressure, resulting in "flash", and a reasonable exhaust position and its control must be selected. Otherwise, the plastic is not filled, and the product is "out of material".

　　4. The injection path should be selected reasonably so that the material can reach everywhere evenly (the runners are equal), and there must be enough storage space to replenish the plastic during the shrinking process. And each material has a different shrinkage coefficient, and the mold has a reasonable shrinkage rate.

　　5. The fixing method of the Automotive mold and injection molding machine should be reasonable, reliable, and firm to prevent accidents caused by displacement during mold clamping. Disassembly is also very convenient. In addition, choose a reasonable demoulding method and choose the appropriate position and quantity of thimble to ensure that the product is not damaged during the demolding process.
