Why should Led Flood Light Factory LED street lights be protected?
First of all, the maintenance of LED street lights is a high-risk operation, which requires elevators and a lot of manpower, so the maintenance cost is quite high.
Secondly, LED street lamps are different from ordinary sodium lamps/metal halide lamps. The LED driver supplies the light source with extra-low voltage and is particularly sensitive to overvoltage. Therefore, LED street lights need SPD protection.
Therefore, the LED street lights of Led Ufo Lights Manufacturers must be designed and protected. So how do we design protection for LED street lights?
First, design a long ground wire. According to IEC 62305-3, the secondary grounding wire should be laid 0.5m above the cable. The grounding wire compensates for the voltage difference and reduces the probability that the lightning inductance responds to the arc of the cable.
After writing this, I can't help but think back to the years I made design. More than 10 years ago, when we were doing municipal road lighting, we always laid a 40x4mm galvanized flat steel. On the one hand, as a PE wire, on the other hand, it plays the role above!
Then, how to choose the SPD model of LED street light?
Scenario 1: When a lightning strike occurs on a street lamp, as shown in the figure below, at this time, the combined SPD (type I+II) installed on the lamp post and the electric control box can effectively suppress the surge.
