The second is our commonly used processing method, which is electroforming. The use of electroforming technology can ensure that the mold has good precision. The only disadvantage is that the machining time is relatively long, and each cavity must be machined independently. In addition, once minor damage occurs during the production process, it cannot be repaired, and only the damaged acupoints can be replaced.
In terms of molds, mold temperature is also a very important parameter for automotive molds. Automotive mold processing is geared towards high-end consumers. Now we generally adopt the concept of high-gloss injection molding and introduce rapid heating and cooling systems.
Generally speaking, high mold temperature is of great help to auto parts molds, for example, it can prevent the difficulty of filling thin walls and lack of material. However, too high mold temperature will bring new problems, that is, cycle extension and shrinkage deformation after lowering the mold.
Then it is very important to introduce a new mold temperature control system at this time. During the injection molding process, the mold temperature can be increased, so that the melt fills the cavity more quickly and prevents the melt temperature from dropping too quickly during the filling process. As a result, the filling is incomplete, and the mold temperature can be quickly lowered during demolding, maintained at a temperature slightly lower than the plastic heat distortion temperature, and then the mold is opened and demolded.
