We are a Storage Battery Manufacturers. Let me introduce the function of the internal resistance of the battery.

The so-called battery is an electrochemical device that can store chemical energy and release electrical energy when needed. The smaller the internal resistance of any battery, the stronger the high-current discharge capability, and the more power it dissipates. All power supplies have a certain degree of internal resistance. In order to improve the carrying capacity, of course, the internal resistance of the power supply is as small as possible.

The resistance r is the internal resistance of the car battery, and RL is the load connected in series with the internal resistance r of the battery, and the current flowing into r is equal to the load current. Assuming that the magnitude of r is constant, as the load current increases, the current flowing through the internal resistance r increases, and the voltage across r increases, so the voltage applied to both ends of the load RL decreases. If the voltage drop is too large, the RL may not reach the rated working voltage and may not work normally. Therefore, the internal resistance of the battery should be as small as possible, so that there will be no large voltage drop across the internal resistance during overload driving.

The internal resistance of the battery will increase over time, especially the internal resistance of the battery that is about to be scrapped will increase significantly. At this time, the battery voltage after fully charged is higher, but when the battery is fully charged, the internal resistance will increase The increase in internal resistance increases. When a large current load is applied, a voltage drop occurs and the voltage across the load is reduced.
