First, screw the rivet nut into the threaded mandrel to apply the specified guaranteed load and keep it for 15s. The rivet nut should not trip or break. After the load is removed, the rivet nut should be unscrewed by hand, or can be unscrewed by hand after lightly riveting the nut. During the test, the moving speed of the chuck should not exceed 3mm/min. During the test, if the threaded mandrel is damaged, the test is discarded. The hardness of the threaded mandrel should be ≥45HRC. The thread tolerance is 5h6g, but the diameter should be controlled within a quarter of the 6g tolerance zone close to the lower limit.

Secondly, screw the rivet nut into the threaded mandrel to apply a load until it breaks. The break should not occur at the junction of the head and the cylindrical part; the load value should meet the requirements. During the experiment, the moving speed of the chuck should not exceed 3mm/min. During the test, if the threaded mandrel is damaged, the test is invalidated.

Then rivet the rivet nut on the rivet mounting plate, and screw in the test bolt without any lubrication. Apply torque until the rivet nut breaks or the thread trips. The torque measurement error of the torque testing machine or tool used in the test should not exceed 2% of the rated torque. The thickness and hole of the riveting plate shall be in accordance with the requirements of the riveting thickness h and d0 or s0 recommended by the product standard.

Then the rivet nut is riveted to the riveting mounting plate, and the test bolt is screwed in without any lubrication. Apply torque until the rivet nut and the riveting plate produce relative rotation. The torque measurement error of the torsion testing machine or tool used in the test should not be greater than the provisions of the quota h and d0. Its hardness should be ≥45HRC. The test bolt adopts GB/T5782, 8.8 grade hexagon head bolt.
