Ring Joint Gaskets are available in octagonal or oval cross-sections. Our Ring Joint Gaskets can be used for applications up to 10,000 psi. If a new flange is to be used, we recommend the use of a more efficient octagonal cross-section gasket. Oval cross-section gaskets are still a very effective gasket solution, where the application requires sealing of existing flanges with round bottom grooves.
