- The chair mould injection system should be very easy and fast flowing.
- Choose the right mold steel for different plastic material chairs: P20 is the most common mold steel used for PP chair molds, which can be injected 500K or run continuously for 2 years. Using DIN1.2738 of HRC 33-38, the mold life is 1M lens or continuous operation for 3 years. 1.2083 Assab S136 ESR Harden 48-52 HRC, very suitable for PC transparent chair mould, the guaranteed life of the mould is about 5M.
- Good parting line finishes, without any sharp edges: We always pay attention to the mold pressure and ensure that the CNC mills the cavity and core in one stage.
- Carefully check the wall thickness: uneven wall thickness will cause unbalanced injection, and will also cause uneven cooling time, which will slow down the injection speed and cause shrinkage marks. If the CNC milling is too rough, you will never get a chair with uniform thickness.
- When designing the plastic of the chair, we must check its stacking ability. And you also need to consider the possibility of deformation of the chair shape.
